Brierley & Coe helps Sussex Community NHS Trust
The Sussex Community NHS Trust will be moving into modern offices in Chichester after Brierley & Coe concluded leasing arrangements for two floors in The Bicentennial Building.
The Trust will occupy 9,660 sq ft on the first and second floors of the City centre location. Worthing-based commercial property consultants Brierley & Coe has arranged a 15-year lease on behalf of its client, the global publishing business, Wiley.
This will be an important location for the NHS Trust, helping it to support a number of key services. Sussex Community NHS Trust is the main provider of community NHS health and care across West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and the High Weald Lewes Havens areas of East Sussex. Its teams provide essential medical, nursing and therapeutic care to more than 8,000 adults, children and families a day.
Founder and Director of Brierley & Coe, Paul Brierley, said: “We’re delighted to have helped the Trust find these well-specified and modern offices. The accommodation will support the essential services it provides to communities across the area. The Trust serves more than a million people; most of whom will come into contact with its services during their lives – either as a patient, a carer or the relative of a patient. In this way, what the Trust does is help to form the bedrock of the NHS.”
The Bicentennial Building is adjacent to the mainline railway station and a minute’s drive from the A27 east/west trunk road. It was recently constructed to a high specification and offers the best available office accommodation in the City at present. Arranged over three floors, it has a mix of tenants including architects, a city trading firm and an international pharmaceutical company.
